Founded in 1823 and to this day has been more than 190 years, Mortlach was the first legal distillery in Dufftown, the heart of Speyside. It was being nicknamed 'The Beast of Dufftown' by Dave Broom, a renowned whisky writer and expert, for its robust and muscular character.
